She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray H. Helms and Olive Harrison Helms; and her siblings, Herbert, Keith Helms and Faye Helms Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Paul D. Higgs; and her children, Linda Darr (Kevin), Susan Frame (Dean), Nancy Higgs (Mollie), Cindy Isaacs (Duane) and Jim Higgs (Betty). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Community Room at Friends Fellowship Community (2030 Chester Blvd, Richmond, IN 47374).
