He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Malicoat and Dorothy Malicoat (Day); his son Timothy Malicoat (Tim); and his siblings, Laversa Crutcher (William), Vadis Hill (Jim), Delbert Malicoat (Sondra) and Clifford Malicoat (Peggy).
He is survived by: his son Darren Malicoat (Jahdiel) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Cody Malicoat (Erica) of Richmond and Katrina King (Kody) of Fountain City; his great grandchildren, Melody Malicoat and Hadley King; and his aunt Opal (Katherine Malicoat) of New Paris, OH.
