He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard R. Bennett and Mary Lou Griffin Bennett; his grandparents, Bruce, Rosie Bennett, Doc Griffin and Velia Brannon; and his siblings, Lottie Mae Bibbs, Odell Boyce Bennett, Robert L. Bennett Sr., Burton H. Bennett Sr. and Dr. Desantis.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Robert Brown; and his sister Mildred Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
