The passing of Elzoria Short of Richmond, Indiana leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 61. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Tracy Short; her great-grandparents, Dossie Cook, Augusta Brown and Ed Lee Brown; her grandparents, Reverend John W. Short, Elzoria Short, Rufus Finney and Berline Finney; her stepgrandmothers, Esma Fairrow, Purnie Finney and Margerine Finney; her aunts and uncles, Robert, Cozine Short, Jeremiah Scott, George Short, Dr. Frank Johnson, Sanuel Bradley and Mary Harris; and her cousins, Corinne Shines and Courtney Bradley.
She is survived by: her parents, Dr. John A. Short and Barbara A. Short of Richmond, IN; her siblings, Berline MacDonald (Michael) of Newport, KY and John C. Short of Washington, D. C.; her nieces and nephews, Vontez Ferguson (Franchesca) of Brambleton, VA, Maxwell Brutus of Los Angeles, CA, Ravonne Ferguson of Beech Grove, IN and Kendall Short of Arlington, VA; her great-nephews, Kendrick Ferguson of Brambleton, VA, Javon Williams of Indianapolis, IN and Kadin Ferguson of Brambleton, VA; and her aunts, Arline Scott of Fountain Inn, SC and Elaine Johnson of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
