It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn (Powell) Blevins of Richmond, Indiana, born in Lancaster, Kentucky, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Powell and Ruby Powell; her husband Oliver Blevins; her siblings, Robert C. Powell, Albert W. Powell, Erman Powell and Betty Bond; and her grandmother Cook.

She is survived by : her children, John Blevins (Dana) and Betty Leonard (John); her grandchildren, Chelse Leonard, John Blevins (Courtney), Mathew Leonard, Tyler Blevins (Macey) and Olivia Morgan (Nathan); her great grandchildren, Brady Johnson, Heidy Blevins, Emelia Blevins, John Blevins, Corban Blevins and Adalyn Morgan; her sister Nan Jones; and her sister-in-law Lorene Blevins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home (222 N 10th St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
