He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Regina Jerrell, Sr., Kenneth, Fannie Smith and Forrest Tevis I; his father Forrest Tevis II; his sister Sondra Tevis; his aunts and uncles, Nancy McCoy, Janet Wright, Anita Long, James Jerrell, Jr., RueMonte Tevis and John W. McCoy; and his cousins, Frandrell Wright and Brittney Herd.
He is survived by: his mother Edith Tevis; his children, Tayonne Tevis and Journee Tevis; his stepchildren, Trey and Nova Rogers; his grandchildren, Tay'lin and Khyrie Tevis; his siblings, Teresa Brown, Kenneth Tevis (Erika), Timothy Tevis and Andre Tevis; his aunt Sonnie Lee (Lawrence); and his uncles, Robert Sanders (Jean), Dan Jerrell and Eric Jerrell (Brenda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews.
