She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Bonar and Ruth Alice Mardis Bonar; her husband Richard Cooper of Hanna's Creek Christian Church; and her siblings, Norma Jean Bonar, Shirley Miller, Betty Donaldson, Mable Hensley and William "Bill" Bonar.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Cooper, Beverly Cooper and Michael Cooper; her grandchildren, Brian Cooper, Angela Gates, Shannon Schaeff and David Hoelsher; and her great grandchildren, Raegan Gates, Victoria Cooper, Jocelyn Calderon and Joey Craft. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and cousins.
