He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. (Cora Clark Surber) and George; and his grandson Skylar Sams. He is survived by: his wife Norma Lou Craycraft Surber; his children, Shelley Sams (Rick) of Centerville, Indiana and Michael Surber (Betty) of Sharonville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Rachel Sams and Anja Surber; his great grandchild Grayson; and his brother John E. Surber. He is also survived by nieces; cousins; and many friends.
