She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Overbay and Susie Gear Overbay; her husband John Sams Jr.; and her son Darrell Sams. She is survived by: her son Bobby Sams (Diana); her grandchildren, Jeanette and Daniella; and her siblings, Jean Henry and Jimmy Arnold.
