It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald E. Scott of Richmond, Indiana, born in Winchester, Indiana, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James M. Scott and Thelma Louise Pilcher Scott; his brothers, James and David Scott; and his former life partner Susie Scott.

He is survived by : his wife Carol J. Wolfe Kelly-Scott; his children, Christopher Michael Scott of Greenwood and Casey Marie Bryant (Abel) of Liberty, Indiana; his stepsons, Jeffrey Kelly and Randall Kelly (Karen); his siblings, Ron Scott (Judy), Sharon Funkhouser (Jim) and Cathy Kildow; and his cousin Connie Odom. He is also survived by several other stepchildren; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the LifeSpring Church (5600 U. S. Highway 27 North, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Goshen Cemetery (3600 North St, Richmond, IN 47374).
