He was predeceased by: his wife Marzella Ruth Lakes Abrams; his children, Jeff Abrams and Sherri Belcher; and his siblings, Janice Spivey, Drucilla Maples, Sophia Vanwinkle, Christine Thomas, Ethel Price, Modena Cope, Virgil Abrams and Robert Abrams.
He is survived by: his daughter Judy Shellhorn (John); and his brother Cleatus Wade Abrams (Marie). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
