He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Hicks Lathrop Guerant and Russell Lathrop (Ruby Hicks Lathrop); his siblings, Leroy Lathrop and Rebecca Lathrop; and his nephew Mark Lathrop.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Lathrop; his children, Jack Lathrop, Jr. and Nikki Cook (Shane Griffin); his grandchildren, Jack Lathrop III, Cody Lathrop, Carson Lathrop, Katie Cook and Samuel Willett; and his children-in-law, Kristin Lathrop and Dustin Cook. He is also survived by nieces; and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Doan and Mills Funeral Home (790 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
