Janice E. Beam Obituary

We announce the death of Janice E. Beam of Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 85. Janice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph James Crothers and Eileen MtCastle Crothers; and her husband Phillip Lyell Beam. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Eileen Beam Valadez (Hymie Valadez), Scott Phillip Beam and Stuart Patrick Beam (Todd Lang); her grandchildren, Heather, Joshua, Hannah, Josiah, Sharity, Skye, Emily and Gabi; her great grandchildren, Rowan, Eileen, Serenity, Ashlin, Bryn, Sophie, Arlo and Ira; and her sister-in-law Barbara Beam Hines Beeson.

In lieu of a memorial service, the family suggests donations be made to Birthright of Richmond, Indiana or Cross Road Christian Recovery Center for Women of Richmond, Indiana.
