She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harry and Bertha Oleta Woodruff Remy; her husband Rev. George Freer; and her granddaughter Meghan. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Freer (Jody), Mark Freer (Robin), Keith Freer (Shawnda) and Kevin Freer (Nicki). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; church friends and family; and friends and neighbors.
