With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Lena Samson in Richmond, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Samson and Eva Samson (Samson); her husband Clifford Samson; her children, Marie Jeanne and Cyprien; her stepmother Florence; her siblings, Francis (Clara), Wilfred (Ina), Antoine (Leona), Alvina (Vander) and Lorraine Dill (Donald); her in-laws, Billie Shea, Clarence (Arthemise), Alice Landry (Wilfred), Joseph (Lucy), Vander (Alvina), Laurence (Madona), André (Priscille), Stanley (Idella), Melvin (Theodora), Baptiste and Andrew; and her close friend Alphonso Martell.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Joyce, Calvin Samson (Alvina), Lorena Landry (Doug), Clayton Samson (Trudy) and Michael Samson (Mandy); her son-in-law Paul Joyce; her grandchildren, Billy, Terrance, Danielle, Marielle, Mireille, Melissa, Joé and Jean Marc; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Isabelle, Jake, Cooper, Oliver, Lena, Emily, Malik, Jabari, Zaïre, Zuri, Levi, Reed and Ronan; and her siblings, Loretta Shea and Arthur Samson (Viola). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
