With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Wayne Parker Sr. of Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on August 6, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James (Sylvia Ponder Parker) and Richmond; his siblings, Ruth Wyatt, Leslie Parker, David Parker and Woody Parker; and his great grandchildren, Payson Parker, Wren and Walker Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Janie R. McGhee Parker; his children, Michael Parker Jr. (Dena), Teressa Williams (Steven) and Jeffrey Parker (Jessica); his grandchildren, Kaylynn Mitchell (Chris), Spencer Parker (Olivia), Landon Williams (Brooklyn), Brennen Parker (Lexus), Preston Parker (Savannah), Mitchel Parker and Emmett Parker; his great grandchildren, Rorry Mitchell, Blaec Williams, Haisley Parker, Remington Parker, Chloe Parker, Riley Parker, Aria Parker, Scarlett Parker, Memphis Parker and Cashton Parker; and his nephew Joe Parker.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Doan and Mills Funeral Home (790 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Earlham Cemetery (1101 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374).
