It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michaela Brown of Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Michaela's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Michaela has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her parents, Shannon Brown and Michael Brown; her grandparents, Denise Ketron (Mike) and Charles Steele; and her sisters, Alexis Brown (Dominique) of Richmond, Britney Hall of Richmond and Whitney McCoy (Nathan) of Bargersvile. She is also survived by relatives, dear friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and medical team at Riley Children's Hospital for their compassionate care, as well as to all who have contributed to the GoFundMe in support of Michaela.
