In the vast expanse of eternity, Opal shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Opal farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Wilford and Helen Louise Bowlby; and her brother Harold Bowlby. She is survived by: her children, Ron Miller (Michelle) of Indianapolis, Thereasa Miller (Rob) of Cambridge City, Michelle Weissenberger (Marc) of North Port and Tara Spivey (Gary) of Cambridge City; and her sister-in-law Billie Sue Bowlby. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home (222 N 10th St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
