He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Robert and Dollie Kittle Rehmel; his wife Judith Rehmel; and his siblings, Hazel, Marie, Virginia and Sherman.

He is survived by : his sons, Shaun Rehmel (Ronita), Derek Rehmel and Keith Rehmel (Eun Joo Kim); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Rehmel, Ahren Rehmel and Anya Rehmel. He is also survived by great-grandchild on the way; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
