He was predeceased by: his birth parents, Leonard Katte (Helen Fackson) and Helen Fackson; his adoptive parents, Harley White and Mildred White; his parents-in-law, Albert and Nancy Baker; and his siblings, Janice Katte, Joseph Katte, Gary Jackson, Mary Jo Thomas, Mark Rone, Patricia Ellis, Melanie Gunder, Charlotte Kiessling and Alice Spencer.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine White; his sons, Robert White of Richmond and Anthony White (Emily) of Fountain City; his grandchildren, Nilah White, Gustavo White, Piper White, Jeremiah White, Michael White (Anna), Isaac White, Samuel White, Brendon Durham (Hanna), Gwendolyn Durham, Braden Hokey, Kyle Hokey, Ryan Spurlock (Tasha), Drew Dixon and Grace Landstrom; his great grandchildren, Ruby, Lucas, Levi, Layne, Kyra, Bodie and Lance; his sister Marjory Killen of New Paris; Deborah Kirtley of Centerville, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Robbins Funeral Home (1704 Grand Ave, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
