She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert A. Harding and Luvena Ballinger Harding; her stepfather Jop Adams; and her siblings, Dorothy Donanberg, Ethel Bullock, Barbara H. Meece, Wanda L. Herron, Beuana Adams, Landis Harding and Lloyd Adams.

She is survived by: her husband James L. Johnson; her sons, Robert L. Johnson (Lynn) of Richmond, Jeffrey L. Johnson of Webster, Christopher L. Johnson (Tammy) of Hagerstown, Anthony L. Johnson (Joyce) of Fountain City and Patrick L. Johnson of Richmond; her grandchildren, Scott, Kristin, Sarah, Ryan, Justin, Heather, Jeremy, Aaron, Alicia, Kate, Tyler and Christy; her great grandchildren, Reese, Haislee, Rylan, Chloe, Alivia, Ruby, Draven, Daisy, Atticus, Miles and Rozlyn; and her sister Argalee Phenis of Richmond. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives; and many friends.
