Roberta Jean Sheffer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta Jean Sheffer of Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on January 15, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lawrence and Grace Wilson Lawrence; her children, Linda Engle and Thomas Joseph Sheffer; her granddaughter Angela Kovach; and her siblings, Mary Helen Doyle, Robert, Jerry and Donald Lawrence.

She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Sheffer of Vancouver, Washington and Nancy Sheffer of Vancouver, Washington; her daughter-in-law Michele Sheffer of San Diego, California; her grandchildren, Michael Sheffer of Dayton, Serena Sheffer of Dallas, Stacia McCormack (John) of Santee and Christopher Butz of Vancouver; and her sister Anna Merle Posther of Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we regret to inform you that services for Roberta Jean Sheffer will be private with Rev. Cindy Ploughe officiating.
