He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylen Roberts and Mildred Felty Roberts; his brother Gale Gene Roberts; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Austerman and Tom Daugherty.
He is survived by: his wife Marla Roberts; his sisters, Judy Roberts Jennings (Val) and Jean Austerman (Gary Harris); his sisters-in-law, Mara Jan Daugherty and Jama Lynn McKee (Tom); his siblings' children, Jim Austerman II (Traci), Ben Austerman (Jessica), Beth Slattery (Rick Malleus), Randy Roberts (RoseEllen), Rachelle Roberts, Rocky Roberts (Stacey), Rob Roberts (Danielle) and R. J. Austerman; and his stepchildren, Lara Tucker (Jeff) and Todd Stigleman. He is also survived by step-grandchildren, and step nieces and nephews.
