Sarah Katherine Johnson May Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2025, at the age of 89, Sarah Katherine Johnson May of Richmond, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Willis and Minnie Willis; her daughter Linda Sue McElroy; and her siblings, David James, Johnny Willis, Hazel McKenney, Goldie Carson, Mary Kirkoff, Gladys Copeland and Betty Henshaw.

She is survived by: her children, James Slick'Johnson and Diane Dunn; and her brothers, Doug, Bobby, Charlie and Elmer Willis. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home (222 N 10th St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens (4501 IN-227, Richmond, IN 47374).
