He was predeceased by: his parents, Tyrus L. Mercer and Ruthmary Young Mercer; his daughter Tracey Mercer Cox; and his granddaughter Taylor Baldwin. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Bryant Mercer; his children, Theresa Anglin, Tara Baldwin (Jeff) and Ty B. Mercer; and his grandchildren, Ty Mercer, Jr., Mandi Anglin and Devin Baldwin.
