Vera Lee Wardlow Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 16, 2025, at the age of 96, Vera Lee Wardlow of Richmond, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar William and Etta Todd Turpin; her husband Chester Macy Wardlow; her son Steven R. Wardlow; her sisters, Ruby Hall and Mary McWhorter; and her friends, Ron Smith and Avery Wilson.

She is survived by: her children, John Michael Wardlow (Lori) and Jenise Sue Sowers (Bruce); her daughters-in-law, Kathy Wardlow and Susan Wardlow; her grandchildren, Bradley Sowers, Erika Sowers, Sean Wardlow, Sawyer Wardlow and Claire Wardlow; her stepgrandsons, Andrew Watkins and Zach Watkins; and her close friends, Carolyn Smith and Ruby Wilson. She is also survived by cousins; nieces; nephews.
