It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne McKinney of Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert McKinney and Susie McKinney (Griffin); his wife Virginia Lee McKinney (Cox); and his siblings, Donnelly McKinney, Hubert McKinney, Jr., Gertrude McQueen (McKinney), Wanda "Wannie" Arvin (McKinney), Ruby Estes (McKinney), Lucille Watkins (Goe), Frances "Tom" Estes (McKinney) and Wallace McKinney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda (McKinney) and Dana McKinney of Muncie, Indiana; his grandchildren, Dustin Hobson (Lyndsey) of Richmond, Dale Hobson (Michelle) of Citrus Springs, Florida and Emily Sophia Jimenez McKinney of Muncie, Indiana; his great grandchildren, Shelby Hobson, Kaleb Burkholder, Garry Hobson and Wyatt Hobson; his brother Lee McKinney of Winchester, Kentucky; and his nephew Roy Grimes of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky..
