He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Ann Crowley Kiefner; and his grandparents, Ernest, Helen Kiefner, Wayne and Barbara Crowley.
He is survived by: his father Robert Lee Kiefner; his daughter Taylor Hohenstein (Phillip); his grandchildren, Emmitt Hohenstein and Rhet Hohenstein; and his siblings, Chris Kiefner (Shawndel), Shelly Keen (Shawn) and Angela Karr (Charles). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeBaun Funeral Home (85 E Springhill Dr, Terre Haute, IN 47802). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Rob may be made to Happy Tails Animal Rescue.
