He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Walton (Reamer) and Robert Walton; his former wife Wanda; and his siblings, Cleveland Walton, Ervin Walton and Edith Koons.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Walton of Rising Sun, IN; his stepsons, Jerry Caldwell (Judy) of Dillsboro, IN, Steve Caldwell (Shari) of Aurora, IN and Daryl Caldwell (Renee) of Bright, IN; his grandchildren, Lee Caldwell, Amy Caldwell, Kelly Caldwell, Alex Caldwell, Sam Caldwell, Maggie Caldwell, Cammi Caldwell and Reid Caldwell; and his great grandchildren, Hayle and Adie Breashears.

Memorial donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America or the Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ.
