He was predeceased by: his parents, Voline Hensley (Spurlock) and Milward Hensley. He is survived by: his children, Tim Hensley (Marcie) of Rising Sun, IN, Terri Kirkpatrick (Allan) of Rising Sun, IN and Tammy Green (Mark) of Florence, KY; his brother Cecil Hensley of Cincinnati, OH; his grandchildren, Klint (Chelsea), Adam, Jessica, Jennifer, Joshua, Justin and Jamie; and his great grandchild Jonah Kirkpatrick. He is also survived by several other great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Markland Funeral Home (327 N High St, Rising Sun, IN 47040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at the Rising Sun New Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Switzerland County EMS in gratitude for their excellent care and service to the family in their time of need.
