She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Shepherd and Katherine Shepherd (Witt); her husband Joseph "Big Joe" Halloran; and her siblings, Bob Shepherd, Troy Shepherd, Floyd Shepherd, Carol "Turtle" Elrod, Linda Wade and Janet Combs.
She is survived by: her sons, Russell Whitaker (Nina) of Vevay and Joe Whitaker (Gia) of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; her brother Chris Shepherd (Carol) of Texas; and her grandchildren, Zach, Kaylen, Kinsey, Bryson, Cheyanne, Gabriel, Julieanne, Joe, Nicole, Chase, Kirsten, Emalee, Sidney, Macey, Alyssa, Kendra, Austin and Angela. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
