He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Gough and Irene Gough; and his sister Judy Gough Woodbridge. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Melanie Fauth (Doug) and Chris Gough (Lesley); his sister Madonna Watson (David); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob Holt, Byron, Austin and Garrett Gough.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Roachdale Christian Church (1 N Walnut St, Roachdale, IN 46172). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Roachdale Cemetery E. St (4178 IN-236, Roachdale, IN 46172).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Roachdale Christian Church, or the Hoosier Soil and Water Conservation Society, P.O. Box 70, Kingman, IN 47952, honoring Byron's lasting devotion to faith and the land he loved.
