With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Ann Thorn of Roanoke, Indiana, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Crabill and May Crabill (Hunt); and her son Cody Thorn. She is survived by: her husband John F. Thorn; her children, Jake Thorn of Fort Wayne, IN, Pamela Kane of Fort Wayne, IN and Sara Thorn of Roanoke, IN; her sister Susan Crabill; and her granddaughter Iris Kane.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roanoke Chapel (240 Crestwood Dr, Roanoke, IN 46783). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McElhaney Funeral Home – Roanoke Chapel (240 Crestwood Dr, Roanoke, IN 46783). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Glenwood Cemetery (1133 N Main St, Roanoke, IN 46783).
