He was predeceased by: his parents, Carry Funk and Lucile King Funk; his siblings, Elma Swihart, Elizabeth, James "Harvey" Funk, Arthur Funk and George; and his siblings-in-law, Eldred "Bud" and Juanita Paulus.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel and Brian; his wife Rita; his grandson Jonah; and his siblings, Isabelle Kamp, Martha Schultz, Robert Funk, Rose Habegger, Sue Quintinia and Judy Armstrong.
