John Briggs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Briggs of Rochester, Indiana, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin B. Briggs and Helen L. Briggs (Landis); and his brother Craig Briggs (Rosie). He is survived by: his wife Elaine Briggs; his children, Patricia L. Zebell (Brian), Mary Michaelson (Jim), Andrew Briggs and Kristen Coe; his grandchildren, Ryan Gilbert, Zach Zebell, Christian Kaiser, Lucas Kaiser, Maddie Briggs, Ethan Briggs and Emma Briggs; his great grandchildren, Sarah Gilbert of Noblesville and Alina Gilbert of Noblesville; and his brother David Briggs (Bettie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Presbyterian Church, Fulton County Animal Adoption and Education Center or the donor's favorite charity.
