He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard K. Smith and Lenora Voreis (Overmyer). He is survived by: his wife Melody Smith of Rochester, Indiana.; his daughters, Kendra Smith (Terrell Pearson) of Greenwood and Nicole Brubaker of North Manchester, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Rhys, Kora and Nolan; his sisters, Kathy Evans of Argos, Indiana, Karen Smith of Argos, Indiana and Kim Lockwood (Jim) of Plymouth; his aunt Mary Huber of Syracuse; and his stepfather Robert Voreis (Dona Leadbetter) of Argos.
