It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ned E. Halterman of Rochester, Indiana, born in Argos, Indiana, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex R. Halterman and Ruby Newcomb Halterman; his son Jerry Halterman; and his siblings, Judy Jones, Sue Tillman and George Halterman.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Barbara Overmyer (Ned) of Rochester, Bonnie Halterman of Indianapolis and Joe Halterman (Stacy) of Rochester; his daughter-in-law Susan Halterman of Tinmath, CO; his grandchildren, Josh Overmyer (Terra), Lindsey Shafer (Matt), Cory Overmyer (Jessica), Jillian Williams (Ben) and Katherine Halterman; his great grandchildren, Conner, Carter, Riley, Addy, Lucy, Jay, Griff, Maggie, Evie, Nolan, Cooper, Paisley, Baker, Carmen and Skylynn; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Halterman, Bob Tillman and Tom Tobey.
