He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter DeRuiter and Carrie DeRuiter (Vermeulen); and his great grandchild Kendall. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie DeRuiter of Rochester, Indiana.; his son Gary DeRuiter (Janet) of Papillion, Nebraska.; and his grandchildren, Kelli Hays (David) of Plymouth, Karri Gates (Chad) of Fishers, Kristi DeRuiter of Omaha and Trevor DeRuiter (Sarah) of Grand Fork.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Argos United Methodist Church (570 N Michigan St, Argos, IN 46501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
