He is survived by: his children, Paula Scholl (Kent) of Warsaw, Brad Howard (Laura) of Auburndale, FL, Jeff Howard (Kelly) of Rochester and Andy Howard (Susan) of Bradenton, FL; his grandchildren, J. D. Howard (Dawn), Kendra Andrews, Jr. (David), Shelby Howard (Pat Duncan), Nicole Hines (Justin), Hollie Prater (Bob), Lane Waltz (Ashley) and Ryann Waltz; and his siblings-in-law, Ilene Howard, Ruth Ann Ravencroft and John Davis. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
