He was predeceased by: his father Richard N. McAninch; his brother Michael McAninch; and his grandparents, Maxine Weber, Pauline and Elston McAninch.

He is survived by: his children, Stefanie G. Street (Adam), Erin Risley and Dustin McAninch (Claudette); his grandchildren, Bentley Burkett, Charlize Risley, Peyton Risley, Zavian McAninch and Alenia McAninch; and his siblings, Christy McAninch (Jerry Yard Jr.) and Mark McAninch.
