He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Baker and Leona Rude Baker; his granddaughter Christina Hoffa; and his brothers, Danny, Jim and Pat.
He is survived by: his wife Nita Jane Cheesman; his children, Vicki Hodson of Winamac, Debbie Rhodes of Peru, Steve Baker of North Webster, Dawn Nicodemus (John) of Warsaw and Jennifer Johnson (Roger) of Rochester; and his brother Gene Good of Kenton, Ohio.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the LeRoy Shelton American Legion Post # 36 (611 Main St, Rochester, IN 46975). The military honors will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at the same location.
