He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Rocky Trine; his grandparents, Jackie Cain (Rebecca) and James Carpenter (Shirley); and his uncle Casey Carpenter. He is survived by: his parents, Brian Edward (Brenda Kay) of Florence, AZ and Amy Lou Carpenter Cain (Danny Lew) of Muncie; his wife Eleesha Rose Daily; his sons, Gavin David Lee Cain, Thatcher Nicholas Sampsel (Kylee Freant) of Rochester, Thorin William Sampsel of Rochester and Emmett Ryan Vandergriff of Rochester; his siblings, Ashlee Danielle Pittenger (Jacob) of Muncie, Macie Dawn Cain, Orlando David Aguirre of Orange Grove, TX and Caleb Jackie Cain (Emma) of Hartford City; his grandmothers, Dewanda Cavitt and Sandra Slater; and his parents-in-law, Diana Rose Trine and Bill Daily (Krista). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Heartland Church (321 E 8th St, Rochester, IN 46975). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
