Suzanne R. Beattie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Suzanne R. Beattie (Rochester, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Fredrick and Miriam Mitchell (Miller); her husband Donald Mark Beattie Jr.; her daughter Teresa Beattie Slusser; her brother Fredrick Pence Mitchell; her daughter-in-law Katrina Hizer Beattie; and her siblings-in-law, Lawrence Dale Becker and Sue Burt Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Beattie Randall and Donald Mark "Spud" Beattie; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Randall Jaberg, Jessica Randall Underwood, Kevin Kennedy, Jason Smith and Dr. Sarah Smith; her great grandchildren, Mercedes Randall Grimm, Maci Jaberg, Maya Jaberg, Alyssa Bell, MaKaeda Matthews Smith, Quentin Smith (Jessica) and Alexis Smith; her great great grandchildren, Leland, Scarlet, Phoenix and Salem; her sister-in-law Norma Jean Enyart Becker; and her nieces and nephews, Marilyn Mitchell Wade (Alan), William Fredrick "Bill" Mitchell (Jane), Jane Mitchell Ramey (Bill), Dennis Becker, Jeff Becker (Lisa) and Connie Becker Scher (Marty).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home (1101 Jefferson St, Rochester, IN 46975). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1000 Main St, Rochester, IN 46975).
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church.
