He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Bearss and Merceda Boyd Bearss; his wife Nancy Long Bearss; his stepchildren, Deborah Morris, Christopher Morris (Janine) and William Morris (Susan); his friends, Don and Mary Brun; his son Tom; his grandson Adam; his uncle Gresham Bearss; and his siblings, Bud, Francis and Janis. He was also cherished by family together grew to include 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, American Cancer Society, or the Fulton County Fair Board.
