She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Tindle and Ella Tindle (Wilgus); her husband Charles Alvey; and her children, Mary Alvey, Ronnie Alvey and Lonnie Alvey.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Alvey and Sandy Bryant McDowell (Bob); her grandchildren, Kaylee Alvey, Cristal Trotter, Crystal Mattingly, Whitney Stimple, Dakota Alvey, Samuel Alvey and Devin Alvey; and her brother Donnie Tindle. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
