He is survived by : his wife Barbara Moore Bittel; his children, Pammy Bittel Brown (Corky), Carl Bittel Jr. (Angela) and Rhonda Bittel Ramsey (Steve); his grandchildren, Christina Brown Hardin (Eric), Curtis Brown (Jenna), Matthew Bittel Boggs (Cory), Travis Bittel (Rachel), Ariel Ramsey Harper (Brandon) and Cheyenne Ramsey Kelsey (Colton); his daughter-in-law Gayle Bittel; his great grandchildren, Domonic, Draxton Bittel, Melody Ramsey, Dawson, Jessa Hardin, Beau and Layla Brown; and his sister Francis Millay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
