He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan S. Johns and Ollie B. Johns (Childress); his son Dennis Leroy Johns; and his siblings, Richard Eugene Johns, Dorothy Mae Miller, Louise Englehardt and Beulah O'Brien.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Johns (Garrett); his children, Debbie Collins (Cevin), David Johns (Nina) and Derek Johns (Cari); and his siblings, Donald Earl Johns (Barbara) and Mary Jo McKeehn. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home (527 Main St, Rockport, IN 47635). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
