He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Henderson and Elizabeth Henderson (Elder); his wife Carolyn Sue Henderson; and his siblings, Pauline, Marcelline, Ilean, Leo, Carl, Joe, Florence and Tom.
He is survived by: his children, John Francis Henderson Jr. (Rochelle), Thomas Eugene Henderson (Angela), Roberta Marcelline Gilley (Tim), Elizabeth Ann Harp (James), Susan Pauline Biggs (Carlos) and Emily Jo Bruner (Charles); and his sister Emily Miller. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home (527 Main St, Rockport, IN 47635). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (547 Elm St, Rockport, IN 47635). He also volunteered at the nursing home, calling Bingo until COVID closed it down.
