We bid farewell to John McClellan of Rockport, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 24, 2026 at the age of 86. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny McClellan and Ellen McClellan (Baker); his son Ronnie Junior McClellan; his grandson Chris Goldman; his great grandchild Sylas Goldman; his daughter-in-law Annette Embrey McClellan; and his siblings, Marvie McClellan, Jack McClellan, Freddie McClellan, Tommy McClellan, Roy McClellan, Lucille Lewis, Virgina Henning and Sue Duncan.
He is survived by: his wife Dollie McClellan (Cravens); his children, Penny Sue Carter (Charles), Marie Hagan (Paul), Patty Phillips (Kenneth), Ellen Goldman (Robert) and Ricky McClellan (Libbi); and his siblings, Annie Johnson, Irene Butler and Lennie Henning. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home (527 Main St, Rockport, IN 47635). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
