It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph C Alvey of Rockport, Indiana, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard "Gunny" Alvey and Mary Belle Alvey; and his siblings, Charlie Alvey, Leo Alvey and Bill Alvey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ida Smith (John), Lizzy Freeman and Wyman Alvey Sr.; his children, Robin Crawley (Gene), Dayna Wilkinson and Randy Alvey (Michelle); and his close friend Sharon Schulte. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home (527 Main St, Rockport, IN 47635). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
